The Nordic Fieldherpetological Forum was established in 1991 during the 4th Nordic herpetological Symposium in Uppland.
The Forum is a network of herpetologists working with amphibians and reptiles in the field. During this meeting the Baltic countries were also invited to join NFHF.
The forum has an informal structure, and the organizers of the forthcoming symposium functions also as the Secretariat. Each country have their contanct person in who is responible to forward information about the forum and future symposiums to persons interested in herpetology in their respective countries.
